Reputable Universal Business in Oxford is urgently recruiting for a Firmware Engineer. Involved within the Firmware Team, you will be helping with a portfolio of projects based around; Firmware, C/C++, Bug Tracking & RTOS.

You will help with Full Lifecycle Development of GreenField Projects, where you will be tasked with coding Firmware from scratch. You will need very strong initiative, with the ability to cope with very high levels of uncertainty and risks (implementation and timescales). You will also be expected to demonstrate excellent communication, providing high quality technical knowledge with strong innovation skills. The following skills are required. However, the company will not expect you to have outstanding experience within each category, and will help to provide daily support in areas of;

* Bare Metal Embedded Software Development.

* Knowledge of RTOS.

* Bug Tracking.

* Version Control Software.

* Experience within Agile Environments.

Experience with Nand Flash Technologies & SATA Protocols are highly desirable, and will certainly make you stand out against the crowd.
