Intermediate Construction Planner - £600m Development, London

We currently have a requirement with a prestigious building organisation, with both contractor and developer arms, for an Intermediate Construction Planner to work on a large scale (£600m+) commercial and residential development in Central London. This is a great opportunity to gain experience on a first class development, which always looks good on the CV!

On Offer:

Our client is offering a basic salary of between £51,000 and £63,000 per annum (this level depends on experience) plus a benefits package comprising attractive pension, healthcare, travel and bonus.

In Summary:

Our client is a well-established prestigious name, often associated with major £200m+ developments including high-rise commercial towers and large scale regeneration schemes. With a distinctly low staff turnover rate for the construction sector, our client has won numerous employer-related awards over the past three years.

The current requirement calls for a Construction Planner at Intermediate level to work on a new build scheme in Central London (based near Strand). You'll have had sufficient planning experience on construction projects to be comfortable creating detailed programmes using Powerproject or Primavera P6 software and have a reasonable knowledge of British construction processes. More importantly, you'll be enthusiastic to continue to develop your career and make the most of the investment and training opportunities that will be presented to you.

Requirements

- At least 4-5 years planning experience within the construction sector, ideally based on London projects.

- Relevant engineering/construction related degree.

- Capable of creating and running planning function on medium scale projects, albeit with senior support.

- Proficient with Asta Powerproject (or Primavera P6 acceptable).

- Positive, pro-active individual.

- Eligible to work in the UK.
