IT Application Support Engineer - DevOps
My client, a professional services company is seeking a IT Application Support Engineer to maintain software and hardware solutions in a cloud environment. As the IT Application Support Engineer you be involved in automation tasks for evaluating new solutions and fixing operational gaps to ensure processes are optimised.
In addition as the IT Application Support Engineer you will be required to enhance customer experience to ensure an efficient delivery process from transition to project to product support. You will be also continually improving speed of delivery while working closely with Application Support, Infrastructure Engineers and Developers, refine processes and procedures to delivery stable products.
The successful IT Application Support Engineer will be required to possess the following skills and experiences:-
*Agile development practices and strong knowledge of software delivery lifecycle.
*Understanding of software development techniques and principles using a high-level programming languages - C# , .Net , Javascript
*Infrastructure, application support and database management in a cloud environments.
*Application development, testing, deployment, support and maintenance.
*Business processes re-engineering and systems / applications.
*Strong analytical, problem solving, decision making skills and proven ability to discern critical from problems, escalate, communicate and management accordingly.
*Learn new technologies, programs languages and procedures to improve service delivery.
*Coordinate cross functional work teams towards task completion.
