Oracle Production DBA - Oracle 3rd Line -12c,

RAC, Dataguard, ASM, OEM, RMAN, UNIX - On call / Rota - Flexible Location

My client a leading Telecoms organisation are seeking 2, 3rd Line Support and Production Oracle DBA's to join an existing team providing support to all Oracle Databases and associated components that form the teams defined supported estate.

The successful candidates will have Oracle 12c experience and be skilled in RAC and Dataguard.

Core Duties:

* Provide technical consultancy for database components based on supplied technical designs - e.g. upgrades, new build activity, backup and recovery, system migrations, high availability, disaster recovery, and performance tuning.

* Ensure physical database integrity is maintained and physical database access is secured.

* Install and maintain DBMS software, physical database deployment including high availability configurations. Configuration of DBMS to meet needs of applications.

* Maintain physical database integrity and ensure access is secured to BT standards

* Implement database structures as defined in provided design documents.

* Provide infrastructure support in accordance with published and agreed service level agreements covering Change, Incident and Problem activities

* Participate in 24x7 on-call rota for production faults in line with callout policy.
