Controls Engineer required urgently for a global powertrain company based in Belgium who specialise in the production of CVT Transmissions. They are also currently running projects on PHEV's and EV's. This is an excellent opportunity to work with an innovative company in a fantastic location in Europe.

As Controls Engineer, you will join a team of control strategy and modelling experts within the company. You will not only take part in the design of powertrain components, but also in the physical modelling of the components! This will be for both standard and EV's. You will also play a major role in Model Based Design processes such as modelling, validation, prototyping, calibration and testing.

The ideal Controls Engineer will be qualified to a relevant degree in mechatronics or electrotechnics. You should have ideally 5+ years' experience on similar projects and basic knowledge of an embedded system environment. You will also have a good knowledge of C language and are able to work with electronic test equipment to trace hardware/software integration problems.

*Controls Engineer

The person:

*5+ years' experience preferred in a similar environment

*Educated to a relevant degree in mechatronics or electrotechnics

*Good knowledge of C

*Knowledge of embedded system environment

*Automotive industry experience
