My client, a successful Software House are currently recruiting for a Developer to join their team based in their Warwickshire office. The company is going from strength to strength, are a leader in their field and have plans to expand their development capabilities to meet client needs.

The ideal candidate will be someone that has a good grasp of JavaScript and has ideally used a number of difference frameworks like AngularJS and NodeJS. You will have experience of working with SQL Server and ideally have some exposure to Cloud based IaaS or PaaS solutions. There will be plenty of opportunity to learn and work with new technologies and the team work collaboratively when selecting new the most appropriate technologies to fulfil client projects.

Job function:

* Develop high quality software solutions based on the functional specifications provided by clients

* Perform unit and system and integration level testing ensuring high quality of work

* Deliver changes to existing applications and databases as required for support and change requests

Key Responsibilities

* Assist in the development of existing and future application projects

* Assist in the transition of projects from development to support and general knowledge transfer

* Create system specification and design documents based on client requirements

* Provide support for existing and future application developments when required including bug fixing and change requests

Key Skills and Experience:

* JavaScript

* Browser and Server-side Node.js

* Angular.js Javascript Framework

* Node.js Unit Test Framework

* CSS/LESS

* SQL Server experience

* NoSQL Experience (CouchDB/Cloudant, MongoDB also considered)

* Positive work ethic

* Desire to learn

Desirable Skills

* Mobile Development (IOS or Android)

* Cloud IaaS and PaaS (IBM Bluemix, AWS and Azure)

* Exposure to Big Data Technologies

* Net Unit Test Frameworks

* Microsoft .Net 3.5+ (C#)

* UX Design Experience
