The successful candidate will enjoy a varied role working across a range of projects and 3rd party strategic partnership. Current projects within the portfolio include MiFiD II, GDPR, CRM, investment platform enhancements and upgrades, digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Building strong relationships with our internal clients (users) is critical to the success of the role, and previous experience in a UAT function within the Asset Management/Wealth Management sector is highly desirable. You will thrive in an environment where we work to challenging/changing timelines whilst demonstrating the system has met the functional & non-functional requirements and that UAT has met the requirements of the user.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare and maintaining test strategies & plans

* Provide feedback to the development teams via a structured defect management process

* Estimate the test effort required and quantify the elapsed effort on test deliverables & phases

* Engage with the business analysis team to ensure all requirements can translate to testable statements via a traceability matrix

* Build strong relationships with Business Users to act as the key interface between the Users, development team and 3rd party teams

* Prepare and execute manual test scripts for; System Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Regression testing, Business Process Proving & Model Office

* Creation and execution of automated test scripts

* Identification of areas of automation

* Execute continuous testing and upgrades

* Complete traceability of requirements to test cases, and issue management

* Liaise with suppliers, teams and team leaders

* Candidate should be qualified to the ISEB foundation level in software testing
