DevOps Engineer - Manchester - £400 - £450

One of my key clients based in central Manchester is seeking to hire a mid-level/senior DevOps engineer who can come on board and consult them on industry best practises. You will be required to optimise the full stack AWS environment which is sat in both windows and Linux servers. You will also be working close with the dev team who are building a new website to help facilitate CICD process.

Essential Skills

Proven track record in a hands on DevOps role

Strong commercial experience with AWS (Amazon web services)

Strong Linux experience -primarily Centos / Redhat

Experience with Microsoft Windows server

Server configuration management experience Ansible or Puppet experience

Understanding of full infrastructure stack

Understanding of full software development lifecycle

Desirable skills

Terraform experience

Strong infrastructure professional background

Strong stakeholder experience (confident communicator)

Day to day duties

Included: Implementing DevOps practices to ensure the environment runs smoothly. In addition you will be expected to work within an AWS environment and optimise their current AWS stack and build out the DevOps process from the ground up
