Customer Insights Data Analyst

A leading bank based in Halifax are looking for a Data Analyst to join their Customer Insights team. Customer Insights put customers at the heart of everything; delivering deep dive analytics resulting in actionable insight, direct marketing & measurement, through to statistical modelling.

This position is on a 6 month rolling contract, based in Halifax and pays up to £200 per day.

We are looking for people who are passionate about data and analytics, have an aptitude for problem solving, and use that approach to provide simple and effective solutions.

You must be able to communicate effectively, have an eye for detail and demonstrate a restless curiosity. The individual must not be afraid to challenge status quo and we actively encourage innovative approaches to the way we do things.

Some knowledge of SQL (ideally Teradata) is beneficial, experience of other tools such as SAS, Tableau and Aster is also desirable as well as experience of effectively managing stakeholders.

The individuals must also demonstrate the following core skills:

* Planning & organising

* Understands data structure and databases

* Excellent numeracy skills (some understanding of statistical methods an advantage)

* Collaborative working

* Business Acumen
