Software Tester (Backend Infrastructure Log Interrogation Agile Manual Automation UNIX). World leading online trading platform is seeking an experienced Software Tester to join their hugely successful company. You will be responsible for overseeing the migration of the company's infrastructure to a new product, carrying out tests along the way to ensure that the systems run as smoothly as before.

As a Software Tester, working as part of an Agile team, you will make sure that newly developed and existing software is tested (using Manual and Automation methods) and maintained to the highest standard by driving quality into everything you do. Working collaboratively with Business and Development teams, you will raise any defects that occur throughout the development lifecycle and resolve these efficiently.

Requirements:

*Strong knowledge of various testing techniques

*Recent Backend and API testing experience

*Understanding of UNIX

*Exposure to Splunk

*Worked within an Agile environment previously

*Experience of Log Interrogation and Root Cause Analysis

*Excellent communication skills

*Degree educated with a 2:1 in computer science or similar

*Desirable: Cucumber, Automation Continuous Integration
