Spring Technology is currently recruiting on behalf of one of our leading public sector clients.

Based in Cardiff, our client is looking for a Database Specialist on an initial 3 month contract with a view to extend.

The Role:

The Information catalogue and database specialist will influence the design of the companies database schema model and published digital catalogues and dictionaries that satisfy the requirements of users such as local health boards and analytical/ research staff.

Skills & Experience Needed:

It is essential that candidates have the following expertise in:

*Use Microsoft SSMS & SSIS and ETL.

*Microsoft SQL Server 2008 to 2016

*Knowledge of XML Schema Definition (XSD files).

*Knowledge of database modelling paradigms.

*Project management/development methods e.g. Prince 2 & Agile
