What will I be doing?

KCOM are looking for a Node.Js Developer to work on an exciting IOT based project which incorporates Serverless functionality for one of the UK's leading British car manufacturers. Using serverless frameworks, test driven development and the latest JavaScript language features, we are building scalable and dynamic applications hosted in the Cloud.

What do I need to do this job?

Essential

* REST API development using Node.js server-side frameworks.

* ES6+ JavaScript language features.

* Experience with agile project delivery including test driven development and test automation.

* Experience of relational database systems.

* Source control.

Desirable

* Cloud experience with AWS / Azure.

* Continuous Integration using Jenkins or equivalent.

* Automated test frameworks.

* Solid experience of the Unix family of platforms.

* NoSQL (e.g. MongoDB, DynamoDB, Neo4J).

* Git SCM.RS)

* Use of Docker containers, especially within Cloud architectures
