Principal Architect - IMPACT! IMPACT! IMPACT!
I am looking for a Principal Architect with excellent leadership skills to take ownership of a number of business areas for a hugely well known B2C brand as it continues to re-architect their high availability and throughput global systems. As a Principal Architect you'll be playing a generalist Head of role where architecture is your speciality and where everything you work on has a huge impact across the business.
As a Principal Architect you are likely to have either a Java or .NET background, a solid understanding of hybrid cloud and be able to bring a passion for modern technology and approaches. My client's tech stack includes JavaScript, Scala, AWS and delivery is iteratively working towards a Continuous Delivery model with automated delivery pipelines.
You will be working at a very strategic level with the CEO, getting involved with due diligence & acquisitions while also being a technologist at heart. You must be able to evaluate the right technology for the business as well as drive the right team structures and delivery processes.
Skills required for the role of Principal Architect are:
* The ability to lead architectural decisions and strategy
* A technologist at heart with a background in Java and/or .NET
* Enjoys working in a role with huge impact and influence over global architecture
* Ability to inspire, lead and drive business priorities
