£28000 - Overtime available at X1.5 - Plus 33 days holiday, Pension scheme, Bonus scheme, and life insurance

Are you an experienced Electro-Mechanical Engineer? Do you have experience of repairing and re-winding motors? Are you looking for your next immediately available permanent job with excellent benefits? My client are a leading multi-disciplined engineering corporation, acting as both a both a service provider and manufacturer. They are seeking a Motor Engineer to inspect, test and repair electro-mechanical equipment.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, have a formal apprenticeship (or similar) and be able to confidently strip motors, fault find use specialised test and repair equipment to ensure a high quality service of motor equipment either on customer sites or within their workshop environment.

The role:
·Repairing and re-winding various types of Electro-Mechanical equipment
·Dismantle and/or strip damaged or unserviceable equipment
·Mixture of on-site and workshop based service and repair of motor equipment
The person:
·Formal apprenticeship in relevant subject or previous experience in a similar role
·Previous experience with some or all of the following: armatures, single phase and three phase motors, DC fields and wound rotors or transformers
·Able to test conditions of windings according to international standards
