Business Analyst

Location: Glasgow

Duration: initial 6 months

Rate: £300-350 per day

Spring Technology is currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst with the ability work across business and IT projects for an industry leading financial organisation based in Glasgow on an initial 6 month contract.

We require a Business Analyst to work on multiple projects across the IT and business change functions more specifically surrounding IT changes.

You will have the ability to work with business stakeholders as well as developers, testers and web functions.

Requirements

*Gather requirements using interviews, observation, document analysis, workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis and task / workflow analysis with diverse stakeholder groups.

*Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.

*Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyse information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artefacts as needed: (Functional requirements, Business Requirements Document, Use Cases, GUI, Screen and Interface designs, User Stories, Prototypes).

*Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans

*Serve as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the software development team.

*Develop requirements specifications according to standard templates, using natural language.

*Must be able to work independently or as part of a larger team

*Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
