Job Title: IT Support Analyst
Hourly Rate: £16 per hour
Start Date: 19/02
Contract Length: 6 Months
Location: Luton
The Role
We are currently looking for an experienced IT Support Analyst for a 6 month role based in Luton. The ideal candidates should have strong knowledge in the following:
- Windows (All Versions)
- Mobile/Tablet Troubleshooting
- Laptop and Desktop support
Provide first stage IT support to our internal customers (part office based, part field based) working on a Service Desk as part of an IT customer services team. You will be required to meet the day to day IT support requirements for our customers, over the phone, face to face or by offering remote assistance.
Day to Day responsibilities
Essential Experience
* Proven experience within an IT support based role
* Strong fault analysis and troubleshooting techniques
* A pleasant, confident and professional telephone manner
* Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills
* Excellent administration skills
Essential Technical Knowledge
* System hardware / software faults
* Service Desk call management systems
* Providing laptop and desktop support
* Best practice principles for processes such as starters, leavers and movers
* Experience of providing IT support within a:
- Windows environment: Essential
- Mobile and/or tablet environment: Essential
- Apple Mac environment: Desirable
- ITIL environment: Desirable
* Continuous Improvement environment (LEAN, Kaizen): Desirable
Displaying the ability to:
* Work well in a team environment
* Be customer focussed in approach
* Effectively communicate and interact with all level of customers
* Work in a proactive and positive way
