Java Developer / Senior Java Software Engineer (Web REST API Middleware Tomcat Agile TDD). FTSE 250 web based trading organisation is seeking a talented Java Developer with strong experience of web technologies. You will join a talented team, designing and developing new features and functions for a business-vital CMS system that supports heavily trafficked websites, receiving over 2 million visitors a week.

As a Senior Java Developer, your responsibilities will include liaison with stake holders to ensure smooth roll out of new features and active participation in team planning sessions and retrospectives; you'll take ownership of modules or features and be a key player in the planned expansion to include five new websites this year. Working closely with frontend development teams, SEO and content teams, you will deliver engaging websites with the highest level of technical quality.

Offices based in the City, collegiate team environment that encourages knowledge sharing and close collaboration (casual dress code, drinks on Friday). You will be encouraged to continually improve your skillset and stay at the cutting edge of technical advancements.

Requirements:

*Strong core Java object orientated development experience including multi-threading, concurrency and collections

*Spring framework

*Experience with REST APIs

*Passionate about all things web

*Advocate of Agile TDD development methodologies

*Degree educated - 2.1 or above in a technical discipline

*Excellent communication skills, pragmatic team player
