Designing cool and engaging digital learning products excites and motivates you. You enjoy sharing your knowledge of how games, new design theories and emerging technology can support the user experience. You will likely be an active member of digital learning/authoring groups and enjoy spotting new trends on the horizon.

You like to innovate. You will be creative, enjoy designing bespoke solutions, have a commercial mindset and design appropriately. You’re keen to achieve results and exceed expectations.

You will be able to quickly build trust and credibility with stakeholders through showcasing your expertise. You will have strong written and verbal communication skills.

Primary Areas of focus for the role include:

designing and building a range of innovative digital products, (for consumption on a range of devices) including but not

limited to, interactive, scenario-based eLearning, games, quizzes, animated videos, resources (e.g. interactive pdfs)

advising on new technologies or design approaches that would enhance the user experience, including the use of social media

advising on how to approach designs for consumption on all devices

supporting the development of our digital learning product for clients and helping to identify future product lines

helping to raise awareness across the wider global learning team of how digital learning can support training needs, acting as an SME - advising and supporting any training, where required

working across the business with a range of stakeholders to advise them on the best digital solution for their learning need

project managing your work and assignments, ensuring products are delivered to time (working closely with the Lead Instructional Designer)

providing training and coaching on the firm’s templated authoring tool (Mohive) which is used by subject matter experts I globally

utilising your experience and deep technical skills to upskill our Junior Developer, particularly in relation to using advanced authoring tools (Storyline 2/3), mobile learning and games design.

Practical experience

Proven experience in the production of digital learning solutions

Experience of designing games and scenario-based learning

Experience of designing digital solutions for all devices

Worked with and can create audio and video briefs.

Knowledge of file formats (graphics, audio and video).

Good knowledge and use of other learning technologies tools.

Experience of project managing work and review cycles.

Experience of working with stakeholders in a high performing culture.

Office/Technical skills

Expert in use of rapid authoring tools, particularly Articulate Storyline 2 or 3 (with advanced skills in variables and triggers). Other tools such as Captivate, GOMO, Mohive.

Strong knowledge and awareness of digital tools available and how they can be used for learning (e.g. flip books, micro learning, apps).

Experience in the use of audio recording tools (for example Audacity).

Experience of other digital learning technologies including animations (GoAnimate), interactive pdfs, webinar and video production.

Expert in graphics and media tools.

Expert in PowerPoint.

Microsoft Word and Excel.

Strong Project Management skills.

Education / Qualification

University graduate.

Understands and is fluent in the principles of Instructional design and use of multi-media in learning technologies.

Knows the principles of effective writing.
