The Role:

The successful candidate will be keen to learn, want to strive for success and have a desire to question everything. An analytical mind-set coupled with a creative flair is a must for this role along with the willingness to take a risk.

You will be responsible for the effective implementation of client account development plans (ADPs) in order to achieve client's annual business objectives and targets.

The role will be dedicated to driving display performance through the day-to-day management and effective implementation of client's display strategy. Primarily through DoubleClick Bid Manager, but including opportunities with other tech partners.

The role will drive and implement the recommendations of the channel head, and will play a vital part in defining and supporting Programmatic best practice through working closely with the community.

Main Activities/Tasks:

* Support the development and execution of the client strategy to increase profit, and provide a high level of great customer service to clients

* Assist in new business proposals, identifying key opportunities to develop/grow accounts

* Responsible for client accounts, following Programmatic best practice, ensuring that hygiene factors are monitored and managed accordingly

* Play active role in defining Programmatic and Display best practice and scalable processes

* Utilise and become agency leader with tools such as DoubleClick Bid Manager (as well as potentially other DSPs), Google Analytics, DoubleClick Campaign Manager and others

* Provide direction and drive daily client operations across the team

* Work together with wider teams to deliver Account Development Plans (ADPs) for each client to sustain and grow client performance

* Provide campaign reporting and measurement of the effectiveness of campaigns

* Share learnings with the wider Social, Display, PPC and Analytics teams to drive performance and efficiencies

* Direct line manage a team of Programmatic Executives and Managers, managing monthly 1:1s and Quarterly Performance Reviews (QPRs), mentor new team members to become operational in their roles quickly and efficiently

* Attend and contribute to second interviews with potential candidates and support the final selection process

* Manage and direct training and development needs for Programmatic Executives and Managers

* Identify areas of development within existing business and support the Programmatic Channel Head to upsell from the company's suite of digital services.

* Drive overall performance within the team to achieve margin and incremental revenue month on month

Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

* Degree level education or relevant equivalent experience

* Minimum of 4 years' experience in Digital Marketing

* Minimum of 2 years' experience in Programmatic advertising

* Excellent communication, organisation, and presentation skills

* A mathematical and analytical mind

* Exceptional client service skills and proven ability to negotiate

* Highly organised and an ability to multi-task

* Impeccable attention to detail

* Excellent Microsoft Office skills which must include Excel, Word and PowerPoint

* Proven track record of working to deadlinesand time management skills

* The ability to autonomously identify opportunities, generate ideas and formulate strategies

* Leadership skills: managing direct reports, a motivator

* 1+ years line management experience, mentoring & training

* Proven experience in client expectation management roles and situations, able to manage and direct client expectations
