Big Data Software Engineer - DV Cleared

Big Data Software Engineer required for fast growing commercial security organisation in Central London. You will join a growing contingent of big data engineers as part of a large scaled Agile team working alongside contractors and client staff.

Key responsibilities:

* Design, develop and test on-going improvements to large computing clusters

* Implement security controls to meet the stringent requirements of Clients

* Monitor and log performance of large compute clusters

* Upskill team members in the domain of software development and big data

* Maintain knowledge of the software industry, big data frameworks and current threat trends

Skills required:

* Experience working in a complex technical development and integration environment

* Working knowledge of the Hadoop ecosystem

* Experience building Cloudera environments to facilitate development and test activities

* Experience of software version control systems

* Experience with issue management and change management systems

* Computer Science degree (or similar)
