Based in California, this influential semiconductor company seeks to make a key hire for a Power Supply Applications Engineer.

Responsibilities will include the research and definition of switch mode power supply technologies, design and development of PSU's based on customer requirements, provide technical support and prototypes to customers, research and write technical application materials and evaluation of technologies.

The successful candidate will be degree qualified in Electronics Engineering or related subject, have a demonstrable background in Switch Mode Power Supply (SMPS) design, ideally low power (DC-DC/AC-DC) and have practical hands on skills with regard to SMPS design/development.
