Java Developer / Senior Java Software Engineer (Java 8 SpringBoot SOLR). Technology driven travel eCommerce site is seeking a passionate Java Developer to drive rapid development of the Search functionality on the highly transactional B2C site, working with stakeholders to identify and deliver business value.

This senior Java Developer role presents the opportunity to remain hands-on and work on complex and interesting problems within a technology driven environment. You'll be tackling the challenges around faceted search and personalisation; architecting solutions, contributing ideas and driving innovation for this cutting edge technical solution. You'll be joining an Agile team using Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration techniques with constant process improvement.

Offices based in West London with a friendly and informal team atmosphere.

Requirements:

*Strong core Java development skills

*SpringBoot experience

*Good knowledge of software architecture, SOA and SOLID design principles

*Advocate of Agile development methodologies

*Excellent written and verbal communication skills

*Desirable: Solr (or desire to learn it)
