Information Security Architect / Consultant

My client a leading financial services company is seeking an Information Security Architect to define and deliver security policies, processes and standards. As the Information Security Architect you will define and ensure the implementation of processes and standards which ensure that a safe, compliant and secure environment is maintained.

As the Information Security Architect you will with the IS teams to identify, select and implement technical security controls. Also you will be required to consult with the IT solutions designers to assure and ultimately approve designs and system changes in line with policy, agreed standards and risk profiles. In addition, as the Information Security Architect you will be required to develop security processes and procedures to ensure that security controls are managed and maintained.

The successful Information Security Architect will possess the following skills and experiences:-

*Strong understanding of business applications

* Excellent PCI DSS knowledge

*Excellent technical knowledge designing mainstream operating systems such as Windows, Macintosh, Linux, AIX, Middleware, Virtualisation and Storage.

*Wide range of Security Technologies such as Network security appliances, identity and access management systems, cryptography, SIEM, anti-malware solutions, automated policy compliance tools and desktop security tools.

*Network Infrastructure and design, including routers, switches, firewalls and the associated network protocols and concepts.

*Network infrastructure and design, including routers, switches, firewalls and the associated network protocols and concepts.

In addition to the above areas your application would hold a distinct advantage if you possess any of the following:-

*CISSP

*CISM

*TOGAF

*PCI DSS

*ISO 27001
