Credit Risk Analyst / Investment Bank / Contract / London / £350 - £400 per day

An investment banking based in the city of London are looking for an experienced Credit Risk Analyst for a 9 month contract role whilst the current employee is on maternity leave.

The role of the credit risk analyst to assist and support the senior credit risk officer with the day-to-day management of the credit risk portfolio. The team focuses on counterparties in Europe, Asia and Africa. You will need to be able to independently analyse credit risks and engage with the front office to ensure transactions are consistent with the underwriting risk appetite, show the ability to work autonomously and produce a high level of credit risk analysis as required whilst also writing coherent and detailed counterparty credit risk reviews for the credit risk counterparties to be presented to senior risk managers. This role will also require the ability to assist in several ad hoc tasks and responsibilities (legal documentation negotiations, reporting, portfolio reviews, preparation for internal credit and risk committee).

It is crucial that you have experience of working in a similar position within an investment bank, otherwise you will not be considered. If you have any other experience within the financial services industry (such as hedge funds) this is beneficial. Any experience working and analysing risk relating to OTC derivatives and securities finance products is also advantageous.
