A leading digital marketing agency based in central London are embarking on a period of growth and are building an additional development team to meet a growing list of client requirements. They are urgently seeking a Head of Development to collaborate with a team of developers, testers and the project director to improve my client's tech output using creative and innovative new technologies and improving software and process.

The projects will involve working with a technology stack including .Net technologies such as C# .NET, MVC, Javascript, Anguarjs, SQL and CMS Umbraco. You will be responsible for severs and infrastructure and planning for the strategic brand commerce solutions for new and existing clients.

You will have experience of running small to medium sized development teams which a good understanding of the .Net technologies mentioned above whilst simultaneously getting hands on with some coding to mentor the team of developers.

As Head of Development not only with you have a deep understanding of web software development and architecture you will also have experience in planning and developing software strategies to support growth. Experience of working with stack holders and leading conversations with clients (ideally in a digital environment) would make you a great candidate for this position.

This is very much a leadership role with the opportunity to laisse with stakeholders and clients and develop the technical strategy to ensure the company continues to grow. The 2018 roadmap for this company is very impressive with a goal of doubling the size of the current development team to 20+.

The CTO takes your career seriously - he wants you to become a key playing in driving the development team forward by providing you with the necessary development tools, support and freedom to help you improve the current development processes and help grow the team in 2018.

My client is able to interview immediately and is keen to progress things quickly with a quick interview process to get you on board early in the New Year.

Depending on level of experience you'll be paid £75,000 - £90,000 + benefits including healthcare insurance, life insurance gym membership, travel season ticket loan, 25 days holiday, quarterly bonus and employee centred training and development on projects worked on.
