Tech Lead/ Architect/ Java Development/Contractor - North Manchester - Up to £475-£600 daily - 6- 12 months - January

Contract Length: Initially 6 Months (Highly Likely for 6 month extension)

Role: Contact Java Tech Lead (Hands on)

OVERVIEW OF ROLE

This is a hybrid Java Tech Lead/ Architect/ Development role. I am recruiting for a very exciting project for a well-known client north of Manchester. They offer an initial 6 month contract which is highly likely to extend. They have multiple in house Java projects involving web and back-end development, you will be focusing on their new real time back end monitoring system in addition to doing work on Microservices web application and AWS cloud migration project. Alongside the hands on development work you will assisting in building and training a new agile software team in there northern headquarters. If you're interested in going forward for the roles you should be comfortable and accustom to developing and design new products as well as assisting in building new in house teams.

THE SKILLS REQUIRED

Expert in Java/J2ee development

excellent understanding of Microservices architecture

Previous Tech Lead/Architect/System Design experience

Proven experience mentoring and training technical teams

Experience in cloud migration projects (AWS)

Agile environment experience (SCRUM, TDD, BDD)

Demonstrates good communication skills and be able to work with the stakeholders and senior management

Understand the iterative software development life cycle

DESIRABLE

Real time messaging systems

Cloud/DevOps environment experience

Any security clearance would be beneficial
