Workshop and Production Manager - FTSE 100 - Bovington

£40,847+ Benefits

An excellent opportunity has arisen with my FTSE100 client; the UK's leading Engineering Support Services Organisation. They are currently looking for a Workshop & Production Manager to work within their Land division, based in Bovington.

You will be responsible providing innovative and creative ideas to improve production and maintenance for an wide range of military platforms including armoured vehicles such as the Challenger Tank. You would be managing the workforce, completing all aspects of upskilling and mentorship while implementing cost saving strategies.

While this role is within the defence & engineering sector applications from all managerial areas will be welcomed.

Responsibilities

* 4+ years relevant engineering experience

* Enthusiastic nature

* Able to manage cultural change

* Relevant managerial qualifications or apprenticeship

* Process management

* Experience dealing with stakeholders and HR management

Desirable experience

* Ability to work within a team

* Attention to detail

* Production or engineering background

Successful applicants will need to satisfy Ministry of Defence security requirements.
