Position: Database Marketing ExecutiveLocation: Birkenhead, Merseyside

The Company:
Our client is one of the UK’s leading multi-retailer voucher and prepaid gift card business, focused on the corporate gift and Christmas savings markets. Sales are generated through the internet, their direct sales force and agents.
Due to their continued success, they now have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Database Marketing Executive to join them.
The Database Marketing Executive Role:
As the Database Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for selection and build of campaign audiences based on set-up briefs provided. Audiences span multiple channels including email, SMS, mail and push / in-app notifications.
The campaigns will cover multiple brands with various data sources. You will develop a strong knowledge of the company data and audience segments to ensure maximum efficiency and accuracy which consequently requires a meticulous personality.
The standard working hours are 9:00am - 5:00pm, although alternative hours may be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with internal stakeholders to ensure the requirements of the campaigns match the specified selectionsDesign & build the campaign selections and flows using the campaign management toolValidate audience output against in-house operational system and SQL databasesAssist in managing scheduled, triggered and one-off manual campaignsIdentify any data or processing issues and provide solutions Skills & Experience Required:
Essential;
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills and ability to integrate well with the current teamA meticulous personality and keen eye for detailExperience of working with databases and extracting data in a live business environmentAn understanding of relational databasesStrong Microsoft Excel skills Advantageous;
Experience working with SQL ServerExperience of campaign selection software Experience with, or knowledge of campaign databases and selectionKnowledge of email campaign data and broadcasting push notifications and in-app messagesKnowledge of data protection and complianceA relevant degree (eg computer science, maths, business studies etc) In return, the Database Marketing Executive can expect;
