Proteus Europe is searching for a Dutch speaking Business Analyst to join a prestigious client based in Mechelen, Belgium. This is a contract position with a duration of 3 months.

Our Client :-

Our client is a company run by the Flemish government in Belgium to provide public transportation with about 3650 buses and 359 trams.

Your New role :-

The ERP program at De Lijn aims to standardize and rationalize the financial, HR and engineering processes using the SAP technology. The implementation of the SAP software is in the hands of SAP implementators who are assisted by project teams of De Lijn. In addition to a project manager, process owners, key users and business analysts, this also includes an ICT team (architects, designers, programmers, testers) that is responsible for the integration of the SAP software with the interface applications at De Lijn.

For this work assignment De Lijn is looking for a Business Analyst of which the following activities are expected:

1. Support for study and layout specifications

a. Business Analysis (describing TO BE processes and functional requirements) and High Level Design (integrations, data migrations, etc)

2. Support blueprint during implementation phase

a. The business analysts facilitate the SAP implementer in capturing and detailing the business requirements during the workshops

b. The business analysts monitor the scope of the specifications (requirements management)

c. The business analysts assist the process owners and key users in the substantive translation between the current working method and the SAP processes

d. The business analysts facilitate the SAP implementer in solving detected - Gaps-

e. The business analysts support the project manager in the preparation and analysis of possible scope changes (change management process)

3. Unsubscribe detailed interface processes

a. The business analysts provide user interviews and describe in detail the process descriptions of the interface components. Such descriptions contain detailed BPMN swimming diagrams with indication of the AS IS applications used

b. This gives input to the ICT team to realize the integrations to be built

4. Support data migration

a. The business analysts facilitate the business (process owners, key users) in cleaning up the data to be migrated

b. The business analysts facilitate the SAP implementer in the data migration

5. Support testing

a. The business analysts check the completeness of the scope of test scenarios

b. The business analysts provide support during the tests

6. Prepare follow-up phases and subsequent specifications

a. The business analysts provide substantive support to the project manager (s) involved during the drafting and awarding of tenders for these projects.

b. They provide input to the ICT team within the framework of the ICT requirements and also process the standards of ICT in the specifications

c. They make an inventory and analyze the required integrations

d. They actively participate in the issuing of the specifications

Responsibility:

Recognizing business problems and opportunities, gathering business requirements, translating these business needs into IT requirements and solutions, drafting business cases, elaborating preliminary studies and carrying out needs analyzes and recommending solutions to ensure the business ICT alignment.

Responsible for the analysis of business processes and information flows.

Job description:

- Analyzing processes and business rules and drawing up uniform procedures in SAP

- Mapping functional and non-functional requirements and managing these requirements.

- Supporting the other project phases:

- Supports the solution architect in developing alternative solutions and drafting the architecture for the selected solution

- Supports the preparation of the plan of action

- Supports the design phase (= SAP blue printing phase)

- Gives support in the transfer of solutions to expert users

- Gives support with the acceptance tests and data migration

- Supports the go-live and aftercare

Your Skills and Qualifications :-

Essential Skills :-

- Experience with the analysis of information flows and business rules

- Experience with process analysis and modeling

- Experience with required analysis and required management

- Knowledge SAP Best practice processes (preferential SAP PM)

- Knowledge BPMN

- Government sector

- Dutch language
