We have an excellent new 3 month contract for a Java Developer for our client based south of Oxford!

Our client, who are seeking a Java Developer, are a software company who produce advanced web-based platforms and deal with global clients. This Java Developer contract is an excellent opportunity to join a small friendly team and gain some great exposure to complex web-based software and database technologies.

The new Java Developer should be a bright and numerate individual, with a passion for programming and with for Java. It will be an advantage to have experience of some of the following:

Java

Hibernate

MySQL/MariaDB

Git

HTML/CSS

UX Design

GWT

As the new Java Developer, you will be exposed to all aspects of the company, as well as getting first-hand experience in production systems. Some of the responsibilities of the role include

Carry out software enhancement projects.

Help to diagnose and fix software issues.

Contribute to the technical direction of the software, including suggesting improvements and new features.
