Senior SoC Architect

We are recruiting for a Senior SoC Architect for our Ireland-based client; a leading organisation delivering custom ASICs and IP to leading customers around the globe. This role can be based either in Dublin or Cork.

Working within an experienced design team, the Senior System-on-Chip Architect will be play a key role in undertaking digital system / SoC architecture, system partitioning, digital signal path analysis, DSP algorithm development for complex ICs and systems. Project work is varied, interesting and always challenging; you will be working on a wide variety of projects in the communications sector.

Required:

· An extensive experience in the design of large, complex ASICs / SoCs

· Direct experience in converting customer requirements into detailed technical specifications, and taking designs through the full development

· Ability to provide technical leadership

· Expertise in IP selection, SoC communication bus selection, memory organisation, performance analysis and modelling

· Up-to-date knowledge of the latest development in SoC design concept, methodologies and tools, willingness and ability to quickly adopt new technologies

· Experience working within a mixed-signal design environment would be useful, although not essential
