Contract C Programmer, Cheshire, Aerospace / Automotive

Supporting an engineering company who provide Software tools for the aerospace & automotive sectors, we are looking for a contract C Programmer.

The company are based on the outskirts of Macclesfield / Congleton and require someone to be on site Monday-Friday, some flexibility of start / finished times can be given if needed and also one day per week working from home.

This will initially be for 6 months though is expected to run 12-18 months. They have recently secured a couple of new projects which require them to deliver the first milestone in Summer and then in Winter of this year. They have a small & talented Engineering department who require someone to be able to hit the ground running.

The core technical skills which we are looking for includes:

C programming

Unix

shell scripts

Good documentation skills

Desirable experience: ADA Programmer / Aerospace Software experience

XML programming

Bash

TCL / Tickle

Experience Building graphical user interfaces
