Financial Accountant for UK (f/m)

Location: Putzbrunn, Germany

Start: ASAP

Salary: 80 000 EUR per annum before taxes

Type: Full-Time, Permanent Position

For our client, a global technology company, we are currently looking for a Financial Accountant for UK.

Your Tasks:

Using your expert knowledge and excellent analytical skills, you will be responsible for month end, quarter end and year end closing for the UK entities. You will be required to prepare and process journal entries (accruals, payroll entries, allocations, taxes), reconcile and analyse balance sheet and P&L accounts, prepare statutory financial statements (UK GAAP/IFRS) and provide quarterly report according to US GAAP.

As a member of the shared service center team, you will continually look for ways to standardize and improve processes across all European countries. Your proactive approach to people will enable you to build an effective and stable network with different internal (e.g. country manager, our US Corporate Finance Group and Divisional Financial Analysts) and external stakeholders (e.g. Auditors, tax consultants).

Your profile:

* You have a business degree and a professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).

* Optimum qualifications are 5+ years of work experience in this profession - preferably in an international company or one of the big four auditing companies.

* UK GAAP and US GAAP experience is a must.

* Proficiency in common IT programs such as MS Office, advanced Excel, ERP systems like SAP, JDE.

* You are completely fluent in English - any additional language skills would also be considered a major advantage.

* You are keen to take the initiative and support others, Team Player, Service-oriented.

* This position will include travel to meet with key stakeholders in UK as appropriate.
