Cyber Security Consultant - DV

Our defence client are currently looking for an experienced DV cleared Cyber Security Consultant to work on an initial 6 month contract at their site in London.

Applicants must have the following skills:

Essential skills and experience

*Proven experience of developing military documents such as a CONEMP/CONOPS and supporting documents

*Proven ability of developing implementation plans detailing tasks, scheduling and resources required in order to bring new functionality online

*Proven experience of military operations

*Previous experience of working on Defence cyber projects and cyber operations

*Have ability to evaluate information and present in such a way that is easily understood by the target audience, including through written and oral communication

*Have ability to own issues and drive them to resolution. Provide direction to inform sound decisions based on business priority and technical feasibility

*Have ability to think creatively and be able to articulate innovative ideas to solving complex business problems

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

-Develop the Cyber Security Operations Capability (CSOC) CONEMP

-Develop the DCO CONOPS

-Define processes for high level linkages between DCO and related pan-defence functions and activities

-Develop plan for implementing CONEMP and CONOPS

Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 18 weeks.
