Support Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled technical analyst who has good experience supporting a variety of infrastructure technologies. You'll be accountable for resolving incidents and dealing with requests in accordance with agreed SLA's.
Key day to day tasks will involve;
* Infrastructure management including Active Directory & Group Policy, Windows Server, Windows Operating Systems, Storage. Backup, Email, WAN/LAN, Security.
* To monitor, audit and check availability and capacity, patching and apply changes when required
* Identify regular issues and collaborate with the project management team to solve problems in a timely manner
* Work with IT users around the globe to provide an effective IT support service
* Involvement in new and on-going it projects to upgrade and improve the organisations infrastructure
Essential knowledge;
- Experience in a windows based environment
- Knowledge of SQL
- Good understanding of Active Directory, Exchange, Mimecast, VMware, SCCM
- Windows Sever 2003/2008/2012R2
- Antivirus technologies
- Understanding of SQL
- Networking (LAN, WAN, Switches/)
