Job Summary

* You will lead the development of a major new blockchain project in the medical informatics field, building on Etherium and new concepts pioneered by our MIT based advisory board.

* You'll be able to hit the ground running from the very first day and if selected as CTO build your own world-leading team.

* Suitable candidates may be offered the ongoing role of CTO at £100K pa + very substantial six or seven-figure bonuses.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Build a core blockchain system from scratch on Etherium

* Research, design, develop, and modify enterprise-wide systems and applications software.

* Plan system and development deployment and maintain responsibility for meeting software compliance standards. Evaluate the interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of the overall system.

* Document testing and maintenance of system corrections.

* Provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems, including imaginative, though, practicable, and consistent with organizational objectives. Determine and develop approaches to solutions independently.

Qualifications and Skills

Basic Qualifications:

* 2+ years of experience with JavaScript development

* Experience in developing Smart Contracts with Solidity or a similar platform

* Experience with software development in a large enterprise Agile environment

* Experience with cryptography principles

* Experience with peer-to-peer networks

* Knowledge of technical Ethereum Blockchain concepts-Knowledge of Blockchain architecture-Ability to obtain a security clearance-BA or BS degree requiredAdditional Qualifications:

* Experience with Hyperledger

* -Experience with MS Azure

* -Experience with AWS

* -Ability to work with a small team taking on large responsibilities-Ability to operate astutely in uncertain environments with authority and influence

* -Ability to emphasize methodologies, modeling, and governance while remaining technologically and politically neutral

* -Ability to articulate and persuade, display enthusiasm, and show a knack for excellent storytelling

* -Ability to adapt and learn in fast-paced environment

* Possession of excellent oral and written communications skills to explain advanced concepts to team members, users, and clients

* Possession of excellent oral problem-solving skills to work independently and address ad-hoc challenges
