This company is a leading financial services provider in their specialist field. Employing 450 staff in their three offices in Stockport, they provide consumer and commercial services in the UK for clients across key financial sectors. Working in an accredited (ISO27001, ISO9001) and regulated (FCA, PCI) environment, they manage over 1 million active accounts at any one time.

They are looking for a graduate with an I.T. related degree and a minimum of 1 year's commercial experience developing applications using VB.net. The successful candidate will work in small team, developing and supporting corporate applications. Candidates should have demonstrable relevant experience. As well as development projects the successful candidate will unit test software, help deploy software solutions into the testing and operational environments and will develop the capability to support and analyse issues in test and live environments.

The company is looking for someone with the motivation and desire to succeed in this role. A minimum of 1 year's commercial use of VB is essential, the use of other technologies such as SQLVBA is desirable.
