Technology Support Engineer - EMEA - IT
Technology Support Engineer required to work in the Berlin on permanent basis.
You will be responsible for 2nd Line Desktop support. Knowledge of ITIL Frameworks, excellent troubleshooting skills to rapidly resolve complex Desktop, Server and Network problems. The ideal candidate will have previous experience providing Desktop Support within an Corporate environment. Technical skills required : Strong knowledge of Core Desktop Technologies MS Windows 7 Professional, Windows 10, MS Office 2010 Pro , Office 365 email, SCCM, MS Active Directory, Remote Tool, Exchange 2008/2010 Mailbox Administration, Citrix AMC, Smart phones/Tablets, Audio Visual Systems, Video Conferencing and Audio Conference Bridges.
MCP/MCSE/MCDST qualification would be a distinct advantage.
Basic Technical Skill Set
· Windows 7, (building / configuring, installing, setting up and administering Windows 7 computers in a network environment),
· Windows 10, (building / configuring, installing, setting up and administering Windows 10 computers in a network environment),
· Active Directory / Microsoft Exchange 2010,
· MS Office 2013
· Office 365 email
· Hardware setup (laptops, desktops, IPads, tablets, Blackberries, IPhones, Androids),
· Citrix AMC.
· Familiarisation with infrastructure cabling and patching.
· Basic networking including wireless
· Audio Visual Systems, Video Conferencing and Audio Conference Bridges
· Familiarisation with SCCM
· Fluent German
Duties
· Providing face to face support as well as over the telephone and email,
· Remotely, troubleshooting Windows PC hardware and software faults,
· Administering network user rights and permissions,
· Citrix knowledge including Management Console,
· Take responsibility for maintaining IT equipment's Inventory database,
· Monitor and report licence status for all IT equipment,
· Supporting MS Office 2013, 2010, Exchange 2007 and Active Directory,
· Install, set up and administer Windows 7 and Windows 10 computers in a network environment as well as providing network support and administration,
· Acting as the local 'intelligent hands' in support of other support operations.
· Assistance with the establishment of audio and video conferences.
· Advising on personal devices and their use in the office.
· Responsible for creation and maintenance of the desktop builds and end-user environments
