Software Developer - DevOps - West London - £50k + Bonus
The role:
My client are looking for a bright and talented software developer to join our growing team on a permanent basis, in West London. As part of this team you will be involved in supporting the businesses' bespoke applications and creating new and exciting functionality for users using TDD.
Reporting to the Head of Digital & IT, the successful candidate will be a keen learner, have a 'can do' attitude and be prepared to hit the ground running as the experienced team will be delivering numerous projects over the coming months.
The organisation are making the transition into a more DevOps focused environment so awareness and ideally experience in this area is preferred.
Knowledge in the following technical areas is essential:
1 DevOps
2 C# / MVC / .Net
3 Entity framework
4 HTML / Javascript / CSS
5 MS SQL
6 Visual Studio / TFS
7 React JS
Knowledge in the following technical areas is desirable:
* MS Azure/ AWS
Relevant skills and experience:
* A working knowledge of DevOps software engineering culture and practice
* 3- 5 years of hands on experience in the above-mentioned technologies
* Strong experience in Test Driven Development
* Experience in Continuous Integration environments and co-ordinating deployments
* Telemetry - tracking application performance metrics
* Passion for software development and modern technology
* Good communication skills
* Willingness to work collaboratively across the team
* The ability to work towards tight deadlines
Contract: Full time (5 days a week, Mon-Fri, 9.00am-5.30pm).
