Business Analyst

Business Analyst required to join a team of ambitious individuals within an Investment Management company. They are looking for a Business Analyst who is a driven team player, forward thinking. Someone who loves problem solving, taking on complex problems and making suggestions to change and improve a situation.

The Business Analyst will report to the Head of IT and will be required to gather and analyse business requirements and provide innovative solutions for the IT systems.

Business Analyst responsibilities:

* Analyse and document business/functional processes and requirements using typical analysis methodologies.

* Using knowledge of system capabilities, convert business needs into functional designs and SQL skills required.

* Confident liaising with customers and managing stakeholder's expectations.

* Deliver support and participate in testing activities including unit testing, BA testing and system testing.

* Complete project work stream deliverables including quality control/sign off for area of accountability

Requirements:

* Experience in the Financial Services, ideally in the Wealth Management sector (Asset Management, Investment Management, Pensions)

* 3-5 years' being a business analysis

* Any knowledge of project management methodology; Prince2 and Agile

* Knowledge of the Asset/Funds Management environment and systems

* Knowledge of EDM (Enterprise Data Management) tools such as Eagle, Markit EDM, Goldensource etc. would be very beneficial
