Based in Tyholland this company have fast become the leading food manufacture in their field. They have recently invested 3.5 million pounds into their manufacturing facility and are due more investment in 2016. Within the next three years they will be the largest manufacture of food products in Europe!

The role is being created in response to the increasingly broad remit of the current forecasting team and changes to the way that this companies manage the business. The Sales Forecasting remit has been expanded to cover customers across UK, Ireland and mainland Europe. There is an increased requirement to enhance longer term supply/demand planning to support the recent successes achieved with a strong forward selling agenda. Restructure of the Customer commercial team places greater onus of Forecasting team to operate as cohesive team with reduce supporting input from Account Managers on short term numbers. Short term planning remains key to operational efficiency and fulfilling customer service and this new role is crucial to this and Succession planning

The ideal candidate will be a graduate from a business/ analytical degree or have experience in an analytical role.

The role:

*Update & Review Daily Sales Review Data By Customer Account

*Update & Review Customer Sales Forecasts

*Update & Review Customer Forecast Database

*Update Sales Forecast with Customer Promotions

*Review Customer Promotions and make recommendations about future forecasts

*Update Daily Sales Management Report

*Issue Weather forecast on a daily basis and make recommendations

*Support on seasonal planning, seasonal uplift and promotional analysis

*KPI recording and monitoring on a monthly basis for the management reports and Weekly customer KPI sheets as appropriate

The person:

*Analytical and Excel highly proficient

*A good understanding of numbers, analytical and able to demonstrate interpretation of numbers

*Business systems or degree equivalent desirable

*Knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential (pivot tables, formulas)
