2017 is going to be an exciting year for this company as they are due to launch a new product range which the successful candidate will play a major role in and they are moving into a purpose built site which is special designed to support and get the most out of the design/development, R&D and quality departments.

In this role the quality manager will have responsibility for managing customer, supplier, manufactured product, new product introduction quality and monitoring ISO compliance, facilitating and driving forward improvements in all departments to enhance the quality performance of the company and achieve continuous quality improvements.

The ideal candidate will have over 2 years experience in a quality management role where you have detailed experience of quality best practice be a trained quality auditor.

The role:

*Establishing, monitoring and reporting upon Quality KPI's and provide technical quality support to all departments.

*Ensures the reporting of quality PPM scores to relevant management globally. Identifies top areas affecting PPM and drive improvements through functional heads to resolve through complaint data analysis and communicates corrective actions taken to customers or dealers in response to appropriate issues.

*Serves as an internal customer champion and make recommendations to cross functional teams to continuously improve the quality of products and services.

*Make and communicate decisions regarding the appropriate course of action in each situation using customer information, technical expertise, and knowledge of business strategies and policies.

*To ensure components and materials achieve the required quality level from the supply base to customer. To continually improve the level of service through identifying issues, establishing root causes and putting in place process improvements. Responsible for problem prevention and supplier quality control from development phase to serial production.

*Manage the product audit programme and play a key role in ensuring project deliveries.

*Managing new product introduction and qualifying products purchased using Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) to establish stable manufacturing within the supply base.

*To work within the requirements of the Company's Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental management systems.

*Ensure ISO 9001 quality requirements and conformance to Corporate Standards are met.

The person:

*2 years in a management position

*A detailed knowledge/experience of quality best practice.

*Degree Level Qualification or equivalent

*Trained Quality Auditor

*Can demonstrate an understanding of Lean Thinking and Kaizen Techniques

*Able to analyse work situations and develop processes to improve productivity
