Proteus Europe is searching for a Dutch Lead Developer/Project Manager for our client based in Brussels, Belgium

Our Client :-

Our client is a Flemish public institution for help and advice about the well-being of children. Reports, annual reports, strategic plan, addresses and links.

Your New role :-

A cross-functional person with experience in development, functional analysis and project management for the complete maintenance of two existing Java web applications

Technical context

The following tasks / competences are necessary:

- knowledge of the following frameworks: struts v1.2 and jsps, hibernate v3 (hbm.xml configuration), jump v1.2 (xml configuration)

- optional knowledge of the following frameworks: CK editor, apache fop v0.94

- familiar with the following tools: Bitbucket, Jira, Jenkins

- creating and coordinating a release to Test and Production

- carrying out manual tests

- monitoring the scope, budget, timing and quality of the project

- offer support to the users

- respond quickly to issues of users in production

- sending 3-monthly working groups with the users (non-technical persons)

- conducting functional discussions and analyzing requirements

Your Skills and Qualifications :-

Essential Skills :-

A cross-functional person with experience in development, functional analysis and project management for the complete maintenance of two existing java web applications

Flexibility in planning as well as being able to respond quickly to issues of users in the production environment are therefore also important requirements.
