Senior UX Designer
A new opportunity for a Senior Designer (UX) has arisen to join a leading, global organisation in Richmond. This role will be a key part an already well-established team of UX visual designers, product designers and researchers and as part of a larger product team including product owners, business analysts and developers.
As the Senior UX Designer, an aspect of your role will be to guide and mentor more junior team members within an Agile/Lean environment, as well as undertake your own hands-on design activities. Aside from demonstrable experience, you will also boast fantastic people skills and understand the design process across areas such as research/engagement, prototyping, interaction, visual design and analytics/measurement.
The Senior UX Designer will need to have good Agile knowledge, and be able to design heuristic applications, portfolios, alongside the proven ability to problem-solve and manage teams. In terms of drivers, delivery is key, patience in a relatively immature design/UX environment and an ability to balance best practice with flexibility!
Key skills needed for the Senior UX Designer:
* Ability to integrate research and data into design solutions
* Commercial experience within an Agile environment (Lean, Scrum etc.)
* Ability to develop and implement methodologies, workload and wireframe specifications
* Excellent graphics, visual design and digital design skills
* Strong organisational and communication skills along with a collaborative approach to work closely with product owners
* Track record of leading and develop junior designers

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 (depending on experience) + benefits
