My client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Data Management and Analytics Consultant to join their rapidly expanding team in Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity for the perfect candidate to join their consultancy team. The perfect candidate will have experience working with a variety of clients within the finance industry with strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving capabilities. The main skill sets required are either SAS, SAS & SQL or Qlikview with SAS Experience.

Responsibilities

* Experienced consultant, background in Analytic Resourcing, Environment Management and Business Intelligence Delivery.

* The ability to work with clients and quickly analyse and understand their business process, culture and what solutions that needs to be delivered.

* Participation in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often with the use of new technologies.

* Have an awareness of company/clients technical policies and application of Governance requirements; liaise with teams and application owners on implementation and interpretation.

* Senior Consultants will manage junior consultants on a daily basis.

* Lead and participate in discussions on technical direction and system architecture.

Key Skills

* Technical experience in SAS, SQL, Qlikview

* Experience of working with the following: Base SAS, Enterprise Guide, DI Studio.

* Ability and willingness to travel throughout the UK to client sites.

* Senior applicants should have a proven record of managing the delivery process with varied clients, whilst leading members of their development team throughout.

* Proficiency to work under broad direction on the most complex projects, often multi-phase, and seeks guidance/direction from senior levels as necessary.

Desirable

* Experience working within the financial sector with knowledge of the following data-domains; Fraud, Finance, Customer Analytics, Collections and Recoveries, Regulatory and Statutory Reporting.

* Consulting experience is desirable, however not essential.
