Messaging Engineer - Government - London - 3 months+

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced messaging engineer to join a government organisation in central London and work on all messaging related incidents and issues ensuring a high standard of case management is maintained. This role will have an element of 3rd Line Support.

Detailed technical understanding of the following:

*Supporting and implementing MS Office 365

*Supporting and implementing MS Exchange 2010/2013 and Outlook

*Supporting and implementing MS Lync

*Supporting Server Operating Systems (e.g. Windows Server 20082012)

*Desktop Operating Systems (e.g. Vista, Windows 7810, MAC OS)

*Mobile Operating Systems (e.g. Blackberry IOS, Android, Windows)

*Active Directory

*DNS/DHCP, SMTP, IP

*IT systems security

*Performance Management

*Systems Administration

*Microsoft Office applications

*Messaging Protocols e.g. SMTP, TLS

*Messaging Security e.g. Spam and AV filtering

*PowerShell

Experience of supporting of at least three of the following at 3rd line support levels and Design, Implementation and Lifecycle management of at least one of the following:

*Supporting and implementing MS Office 365

*Supporting and implementing MS Exchange 2010/2013

*Supporting and implementing MS Lync

*Mobile backend supporting services (e.g. MDM)

*Monitoring (e.g. SCOM)

*Web Infrastructure (IIS, Apache)

*Remote Access (e.g. SSLVPN)

*Certificate authority services (InternalExternal)

*Cloud Services and Infrastructure e.g. Azure
