Network Architect

A Network Architect is urgently required to join a Telecommunications company to define and deliver Global Cloud and Technical Architecture's in accordance with their network cloud strategy. This will focus particularly on cloud capabilities for network functions.

Responsibilities:

* Analyse application portfolios, identify dependencies & common infrastructure platform components, and assess transformation feasibility.

* Design cloud architectures suited to (but not limited to) service provider network functions using relevant industry standards and best practices.

* Generating cloud transformation roadmaps and driving buy-in across complex organisation structures.

* Working with other centres of excellent to ensure a consistent end-to- end architecture and solution.

Skills Required:

* Experience implementing cloud based services and environments.

* Software design and development experience.

* Experience with Openstack based and VMWare platforms.

* Experience in a telecommunications environment either with a service provider or vendor delivering virtualized software functions.

* Stakeholder Management skills
