My client are seeking a up and coming Junior software developer to join their experienced development team and take the next step in their career with us. The role will see the successful candidate join a talented PHP team at one Scotland's most well-known Digital Agencies.

Within the role, you will be working on the back-end on some of the largest projects within the Energy, Renewable and Public sector. Within this, you will be expected to perform clean coding whilst working within an Agile environment.

They are expecting candidates to have reasonable experience in the following and be able to quickly and effectively fill any gaps in their knowledge where required.

Highly relevant;

* Modern PHP5, including tooling such as PHP Unit and Composter

* Drupal

* Familiar with classic Linux/Unix command line utilities

* Detailed and precise understanding of HTTP, HTML, JSON and XML

* SQL

Nice to have;

* PHP 7

* JavaScript

* HTML5 and CSS
