Title of Position: Functional Tester
Location: Birmingham
Starting Date: January / February 2018
Length of Placement: Full-time & permanent
Our client is a leading technology solutions business that engineers excellence for customers in the UK, US and India. They enable large scale business change programmes through their service offerings, which include agile consulting, digital commerce, BI and analytics, application development, support and testing. Our client’s provides technical solutions for both public and private sectors including HM Government.
SC is mandatory, so either SC cleared or SC eligible (as minimum).
Description of Position:
Worked on multiple Agile projects
Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automated suites of tests through continuous integration for value added feedback.
Work closely with software developers to create software artefacts including test plans, test cases, test procedures and test reports.
UI testing - cucumber/Junit/Selenium web driver.
Knowledge of Performance/Load Testing, Accessibility testing
Prepare regression, exploratory testing, ad-hoc and retest as required
Database & Migration Testing using Postgres, Procedural Languages (PLSQL, pgSQL).
REQUIREMENTS
Essential:

Strong collaboration, negotiation and influencing skills.
Security and performance testing, Experience in web testing and API testing
Experience of Continuous Integration
Good to have but not essential:
Use of Jenkins for Continuous Integration
AWS, JIRA and Confluence experience
