Our client is recruiting on behalf of a leading software development company. They’re now looking for a Service Delivery Manager to join their dedicated team in Newbury.

In this important role, you will have the chance to help the company to manage their increasing workload and demands and ensure that customer satisfaction is achieved.
As the Service Delivery Manager, you will facilitate the successful delivery of the company’s software development projects.
Co-ordinating the activities of your team, you’ll track the progress of projects, monitor key deadlines to ensure that nothing is missed and communicate effectively with colleagues, customers and third party vendors.
Additionally, you will:
- Track project progress through all stages, including administration such as quotations and POs
- Co-ordinate staff time
- Lead internal project management meetings and represent the company at customer/vendor meetings
- Identify potential conflicts in project/task scheduling
- Authorise holidays/absences to best manage employees’ schedules
- Help to implement software or systems designed to support project management activities
To be considered for this exciting role, you will need service delivery experience. Exceptional communication skills and a great eye for detail are also key.
Diligent and deadline-oriented, as the Service Delivery Manager, you’ll have outstanding time-management, planning and prioritisation skills. With active listening skills, you'll have a collaborative approach to problem-solving and a positive attitude.
Ideally, you’ll offer a good level of education with commercial experience that shows the ability to take ownership of internal tasks/projects. Some team management experience would be useful, but not essential.
